What you tell us during onboarding: your taste preferences, how and where you like to eat, any allergies or dietary restrictions you enter, and anything you type into a free-text box.
What you do in the app: the spots and dishes you save and open, the links you tap, and any reports you send us about a listing being wrong.
Your approximate location, only while the app is open and only if you allow it. It is used on your device to sort and map what is near you. We do not track you in the background and we do not upload your location history.
We use it to rank food for you and to improve our coverage. That is the whole purpose.
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertisements. We do not take payment from restaurants to rank them higher.
Google Firebase stores your account and your saved data.
Sentry receives crash and error reports. Personal information is switched off in that integration, so a crash report carries the failure, not your profile.
PostHog receives product analytics and records screen sessions so we can see where the app confuses people.
Please note: session recording does not currently mask text you type into the app. Avoid entering anything in a free-text box that you would not want a member of our team to read.
You can delete your account from this Profile screen at any time. That removes your profile, your saved spots and dishes, and your sign-in.
Some anonymous activity records are append-only and cannot be edited by the app. They are not linked to a working account once you delete, and they are cleared on a schedule.
If you want a copy of your data, or you want us to confirm a deletion, email support@nutrinomad.com.
If you join the waitlist at nutrinomad.com we store the email address and the city you enter, so that we can tell you when the app opens where you are.
We use it for that and nothing else. We do not sell it and we do not add you to unrelated mailing lists. Our email and database providers process it on our behalf.
To have it removed, email support@nutrinomad.com and we will delete it.
NutriNomad is a beta. It helps you find real food, prepared simply, at restaurants near you. It is a discovery tool and nothing in it is medical, nutritional or dietary advice.
We cannot filter allergens accurately yet, and we say so on the screen that asks. Menus change, kitchens share equipment, and our data comes from public sources that can be out of date or wrong.
Always confirm directly with the restaurant before you order. Do not rely on this app to keep you safe from an allergen.
Prices, opening hours, photographs and menu items are collected from public sources and are often incomplete or out of date. Treat everything here as a starting point, not a guarantee. Where we are not confident about a price, we show nothing rather than guess.
Things will break. Please tell us when they do, using Beta Feedback on the Profile screen.
We may change or remove features between builds, and beta builds expire.
